Question 1:
Development
We need to identify what Mel can offer. What we can add to our application to make it more appealing for users and get the message across. We need to know our constraints, such as time and budget. This is because we can finish our project within the given time. We need to understand the priority of the project to provide the minimum requirement of the application for the client. Identifying the resources available, if they are not available we can find alternate ways to retain the quality of the work. Finally, we select the best candidate for the job such as programmers, graphic designers and so on…
Pre-production
Knowing what we are aiming for, we start planning and carry out procedures to get resources we need such as software and equipments.
Production
In this stage, using the resources, we start executing the processes needed to create the application that we previously planned. During mid-production, if there are unforeseen obstacles we have to quickly find alternate ways to solve the problem.
Post Production
Basically, in this stage, we are supposed to play test and check the quality of the application and see what we can revise or improve. If we find any bugs we have to eliminate them immediately or find a way around it. Quality testing will rotate for a few cycles to ensure the product is of satisfactory standard and quality.
Delivery
It will be publish in its respective medium. In our case, since it is a digital content, we should be burning into a CD-ROM to be pass to the client for further actions.
Question 2:
A good proposal must include articles that are related to the project. It needs a distinct plan to set clear goals for the project and thus a smoother workflow. A good proposal knows will cover the necessary areas and detailed information for the project. On the other hand, a bad proposal will be lacking in areas and have insufficient information related to the project.
Question 3:
He is responsible for the success of the project and is needed throughout the entire project. The project manager is the one who will overlook and keep things organized. He has to know what is going on along with each team members role and what is required of the project.
